We aim to cultivate a distinctly Christian environment where residents can thrive and grow as individuals. We also provide opportunities for them to establish meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with housemates, neighbors, and the community. It is our desire for every resident to enjoy a fulfilling life at home, in work, and everywhere they go.

Our residents show love for God and each other and most see their families at least every other week.
Daily Life
At Brothers & Sisters Homes, residents share chores, come together for meals, and spend time as a group relaxing and having fun.

Each person in our care is encouraged to find purpose, keep busy, and learn to take care of themselves.
Services
A natural outpouring of our love for the people in our care is a passion for the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities. We believe wholeheartedly that they are entitled to fair treatment, access to necessary support, and opportunities for involvement in the community.
Activities & Programs
History
Brothers & Sisters Homes was founded in 1980 by the Holland Deacons’ Conference. Seeing a need to provide a supportive and nurturing Christian living environment for adults with developmental disabilities, HDC launched its adult foster care ministry.
